Week 10 was all about Royalty, and we saw plenty of hot stories about princes, queens and other lords and ladies. Thanks to everyone who joined in last week, with or without following the prompt 🙂
Prompt 11 – Freedom
On May 4th, we celebrate Herdenkingsdag in The Netherlands, Remembrance of the Death Day. On this day, we look back at history and reminisce those who have fallen in the Second World War and in conflicts afterwards. At 8 PM, everyone in the country is silent for two minutes. On May 5th, we celebrate Bevrijdingsdag, Liberation Day, to celebrate we were released from German occupation in 1945. The day is filled with activities and festivals, all themed about freedom.
Hence this week’s prompt 🙂
Freedom can mean many things to different people. It can be freedom to be yourself and being able to express your sexuality. It can mean freedom to liberate yourself from a toxic person. It can also be about choosing to behave and dress closer to your true self.
