Prompt 41 Presents
This week’s prompt is inspired by the Dutch tradition ‘Saint Nicholas.’ It’s a children’s feast similar to Christmas where a mythical man visits every child and gives them presents if they have been nice. In earlier days, naughty children would be spanked, but that part of the tradition seems to have become lost. Saint Nicholas’ birthday is on the 5th of December, where traditionally Dutch children receive presents from the holy man.
